Swiss Equestrian Federation Creates New Role for 2026: Dressage Competition Director

The Swiss equestrian federation has announced that it will be creating a new role - Competition Director - for dressage as of 2026. 

éWith the introduction of the role Swiss Equestrian will strengthen the organization and quality of dressage competitions from 2026 onwards," the Swiss NF stated. " This new role allows interested individuals to take on key tasks in the running of a dressage event – ​​similar to a Technical Delegate, but without having to complete the training to become a dressage judge."

The Swiss federation has launched a recruiting process. The role "offer(s) an attractive entry point for people who want to work as officials in equestrian sports. Furthermore, the function of Technical Delegate offers the possibility, from the age of 75, to continue part of their duties for a further three years upon request and to contribute their valuable knowledge to sport."
