Not Pacific League Finals winner Mary Hanna, but second placed Serena Ireland will be representing Australia and the Pacific League at the 2026 World Cup Finals in Fort Worth, TX.

Ireland confirmed her official entry on Instagram a a week ago.
"Little girl dreams. Big arena energy," Ireland took to Instagram. "Dreams like this don’t happen alone. They are built by a village — my unfaltering team, my people, and of course the incredible partner who has been with me from the very beginning. Rusty, this one’s for us. Grateful. Ready. World Cup bound."
Runner-Up with Royalty R
Five riders competed in the 2025 Pacific League Final at the CDI-W Werribee High Horse Dressage Festival on Saturday 13 December 2025.
Aboard the 12-year old KWPN bred Ivanhoe (by Desperado x Jazz) Mary Hanna won the freestyle with 72.695%, while 27-year old Serena Ireland and her own 14-year old Australian warmblood Royalty R (by Regardez Moi x Jive Magic x Ilkay) were second in the Kur with 68.965%.
With Hanna declining to make the trip to Texas, Ireland got the opportunity as runner-up of the league final to go and has accepted.
Ireland is a newcomer to international Grand Prix sport, having ridden her first international Grand Prix less than a year ago. She rode in one CDI as a young rider in 2019 on Jazz Song, before making her CDI big tour debut in March 2025 with Royalty R, aka "Rusty". She showed at two CDI's in Werribee and Sydney before heading to the League Final two months ago. Serena trains with Robert Harrisson Schmerglatt.
