Itziar Auz Appointed Spanish Technical Director for Para Dressage

The Spanish equestrian federation (RFHE) has appointed Itziar Auz as the new Spanish technical director for para dressage.

The decision was made at a RFHE board meeting on 27 January 2026 following the resignation of Fatima Cao for "professional reasons."

Cao had been developing the para dressage framework in Spain for the last 14 years.

Itziar Auz holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She is a national judge and international dressage and para dressage official. She also coaches riders across different equestrian disciplines.
