Swedish dressage rider Cecilia Bergåkra recorded two personal best scores at the 2026 CDI 3* in Tolbert, The Netherlands, where she competed in the international senior Grand Prix division aboard My Friend.
Bergåkra is based in Randbøl, Denmark, where she collaborates with NorCordia, and the pair demonstrated continued progress at Grand Prix level throughout the weekend competition.
Personal Best in Friday’s Grand Prix
In Friday’s Grand Prix, the combination achieved a new personal best of 67.957%, placing seventh in a competitive international field. Bergåkra noted the mare’s focus in a busy show environment and her consistent energy throughout the test.
"Seventh place in a big field of 35 competitors in the CDI3* Grand Prix," Cecilia rejoiced. "A new international personal best in the Grand Prix. I'm very happy with her focus in a very busy environment and as always energy for at least one more round."
Breaking the 70% Barrier

"Top it off we made it to a third place in a strong field of riders and I couldn’t be more proud of our achievement," said Cecilia.
Upcoming competitions include the 2026 Swedish Dressage Championships. At the end of May, Bergåkra is also expected to compete in selected classes at the Danish Dressage Championships in Randbøl, Denmark, where she is set to present several NorCordia horses.
