Estobar, Best Seller of the Oldenburg Foal Auction at 2026 Horses & Dreams

The bay colt Estobar became the best seller of the Oldenburg foal auction held at Horses & Dreams, the CDI Hagen at Hof Kasselmann, on Friday 24 April 2026.

A collection of 20 show jumping and dressage bred foals was on offer.

Estobar (by Escamillo x Floriscount), bred by the Kleen family, fetched the highest hammer price of 39,000 euro. He sold to Polish investor Kamil Iwicky.

The second most expensive foal was the colt Espoire Gold (by Escolar x Dynamic Dream) out of Christine Arns-Krogman's breeding programme. The colt achieved a price of 25,000 euro. The same amount was paid for filly First Lady (by For Romance x Diamond Hit). Dutch online bidders secured this dark bay mare.

The most expensive jumper foal was filly Eminence (by Emerald van het Ruytershof), which sold for 15,000 euro. Dressage filly Selina (by Secret x Quaterback) also went for this price.

Valois (by Vjento x Furst Wilhelm) and Samt und Seide (by Sebastino PS x Furstenball) both sold for 14,000 euro. Colt Vogue Power (by Verbier x Total Diamond PS) went for 12,000 euro.

Best of Bon (by Bon Bolero x Best of Gold) had 10,500 euro as highest bid while the colourful chestnut filly Felicertanz A (by Feliciano x Fidertanz) fetched 10,000 euro.

Six of the 20 offered foals sold abroad. Total sales amounted to 281,500 euro, with an average price of 14,075 euro for a foal.
