Va Benissimo, Top Dressage Seller of the 2026 Hof Kasselmann Hybrid Auction

Va Benissimo became the top selling dressage horse in the 2026 Hof Kasselmann Hybrid Auction which took place on 12 June 2026 during the Future Champions CDIO-PJYR Hagen. 

A collection of 16 dressage and show jumping bred horses was offered for sale.

The price highlight was show jumper Cokacetta PS Z, which sold for 535,000 euro. 

The 4-year old Oldenburg Va Benissimo (by Va Bene x Florestano) was the most wanted dressage horse. He sold for a bidder on the auction floor for 160,000 euro.

Sausebraus
The 6-year old Westfalian gelding Sausebraus (by Secret x Dormello x Alabaster) was the second most expensive dressage horse, selling  for 123,000 euro. 

The 4-year old Oldenburg mare Fame (by Furst Jazz x Sir Donnerhall) fetched 122,000 euro

The 4-year old Hanoverian Dollar Boy (by Dimaggio Black x Santander) went for 77,000 euro.

The palomino Oldenburg mare Destello de Luz (by Destello x RFF The Alchemist xx) sold for 70,000 euro to the U.S.A.. The 4-year old Oldenburg gelding Flashdancer (by Feinrich x Totilas) found a new owner for 65,000 euro.

Dollar Boy
The 4-year old Oldenburg mare Talina (by Total Diamond x Dr Jackson) went for 57,000 euro, while Javero Nocture (by Jameson x Jazz) switched owners for 55,000 euro.

Demand came from all over the world. Buyers from Germany, Belgium, Scandinavia, Switzerland, Mexico, the USA, Brazil, Taiwan and South Africa, amongst others, took part in the bidding. Some of the young riders competing in the Future Champions series also used the auction to secure their sporting partners for the coming years at an early stage. In the end, the collection achieved a turnover of €1,878,500. With an average price of €117,406, the result even surpassed that of the previous year.
