Danish Teams Announced for 2026 European Youth Riders Championships

The Danish equestrian federation has announced the riders that will represent Denmark at the 2026 European Youth Riders Championships in July.

The junior riders will head towards Olomouc (CZE) on 13 - 19 July, while the young riders and U25 riders will compete in Pilisjaszfalu (HUN) on 6 - 12 July. The pony riders have their Europeans in Le Mans (FRA) on 27 July - 2 August.

Danish pony team captain Lisbet Seierskilde said, ""I am incredibly proud of the effort the girls have put in throughout the spring. I value the collaboration with the teams at home and am proud of both the riding we present and the personal development the girls undergo. At the event in Hagen we had three different pony pairs at the top of the podium for the first time. This does not happen every day and testifies to a very high level in Danish pony dressage."

"In the coming month, we will continue to work on the final details leading up to the European Championships, and I feel convinced that we will leave with a strong team. At the same time, it is a great strength that we also have reserves who have delivered great performances throughout the season and are ready to step in if the need arises."

Danish youth team trainer Ulrik Falbe-Hansen said, "we have seen many strong performances throughout the season, and therefore I look forward to this summer's championships with great optimism. Before departure, we will gather for our bootcamp, where the final details will be refined, so that both riders, horses and their teams are as well prepared as possible. The bootcamp is an important part of our preparations, both in terms of sport and as a team."
