Sjef Janssen and student Jazmin Yom Tov in 2019
Hungarian entrepreneur Arie Yom-Tov and Anky Holding, the company of Anky van Grunsven and Sjef Janssen, have reached a settlement and Yom Tov dropped his appeal.  In 2025 Yom Tov sued for breach of contract (and complained about alleged sexually unacceptable behaviour). The Hungarian demanded 900,000 euro, the Anky Holding demanded 300,000 euro for unpaid bill. The court dismissed all claims and both parties walked out empty handed. Yom Tov appealed. On 22 May 2026 the Dutch newspaper Financieel Dagblad posted that a settlement has been reached. The judge in court said that the damages both parties were claiming was "guesswork" and urged them to settle. FD posted in its newspaper: "a settlement has been reached,” says Janssen’s lawyer. All legal proceedings will be withdrawn. To put the matter behind them once and for all, Janssen and Van Grunsven will — undoubtedly through gritted teeth — pay Yom-Tov €37,500. “When would you like to pay?” the judge asks. Janssen replies: “It doesn’t matter to me. Preferably yesterday.”
