Five dressage personalities were successfully vetted as a candidate for a seat on the FEI Dressage Committee for the term 2026 - 2030.
The seat of Frederico Pinteus (POR) is up for renewal at the end of 2026.
Five Candidates
The FEI Nominations Committee reviewed all applications and picked five for the 2026 elections. They are Patrick Rodde (FRA), Barbara Ardu (ITA), Emelie Brolin (SWE), George Williams (USA), and Marina Aframeeva (RUS).
The new member will be appointed by the FEI board on 2 November 2026.
The FEI Dressage committee members have expressed no preference in background, while in the past it was sometimes expressed beforehand if they wanted someone with a rider/organizer/trainer/official background.
FEI Athletes Representative
At the 2026 FEI General Assembly also a new Athlete's representative will be have be found as the term of Yvonne Losos de Muniz (DOM) ends in 2026 as well. Losos will not be standing for a second term.
The International Dressage Riders Club is supporting Belgian Olympian Larissa Pauluis and will assist her with the preparation and completion of the application documents.
Para Seat
For a seat on the FEI Para Dressage Committee only one candidate stepped forward: Rodolpho Riskalla (BRA).
