Hungarian Under 25 champion Jazmin Yom Tov has proven she can also stand her own in the senior division after winning the World Cup qualifier on home turf at the 2026 CDI-W Pilisjaszfalu on 19 - 21 June 2026.
Aboard her family owned 12-year old KWPN gelding Jack Black WW she bested a field of five riders and scored a double whammy.
Playing a Good Hand
Yom Tov is a seasoned competitor having represented Hungary at numerous European youth riders Championships and World Young Horse Championships. After her move back home from Holland to Hungary, she has been more quietly working at her home yard, Stable Unikornis, while fine-tuning her skills under the supervision of German squad rider Benjamin Werndl.
With her father Arie Yom Tov investing in horse stock, mostly foals that are brought up the levels, Jazmin recently picked up the ride on Jack Black WW and seems to have a good hand to play.

After a three-year break from international showing Jack Black WW returned with Jazmin at the 2026 CDI Mariakalnok in the U25 division, where they placed third twice.
"I'm riding him for a few months now, it took me a little while to learn his buttons, what he likes and doesn’t like and I’m still learning about him every day," said Jazmin. "He’s definitely a special, one of a kind horse. He has so so much more in him and I will do my very best to reach every goal with him."
On a High after Record Scores
At their second CDI as a pair in Pilisjaszfalu, Yom Tov and Jack Black WW won the Grand Prix score with 69.913%. She twice edged out Austrian born Diana Porsche on her young Grand Prix horse Kentucky.

They went on to win the Kur to Music and Central European League World Cup qualifier, picking up World Cup points. They scored 76.060%.
"In the freestyle he was really with me during the whole test," said Jazmin. "I felt him waiting for me for every aid I gave, and every aid I gave he gave it his all! Every piece fell into place. The pi-pa was smooth, the pirouettes were best so far the changes were expressive, and it fit so good for the music. It was a real pleasure to ride it and I barely believed that I got a new PB of 76% and especially in a World Cup! Short after the test I also realised it was a new Hungarian record too, so honestly, I’m still on a high."
Not in a Hurry

"I’m still a U25 rider this year, and I want to enjoy it one last time. Youth is so much fun and I have all my life to compete in seniors afterwards," said Jazmin.
She is currently competing two Grand Prix horses, Jack Black WW, and her U25 champion For Joy. With the latter she celebrated a hattrick of wins in the U25 classes at the CDI-W Pilisjaszfalu, just two weeks after winning the Hungarian Under 25 Champion's title in Mariakalnok. Jazmin has opted to ride Jack Black WW at the Europeans.
"For now he got a few well deserved days off, going to the field, some easy lunge work," said Jazmin. "From next week we will work on the basics a bit more, make everything more harmonious and smooth, and then we are ready to enter the big arena again."
Best is Yet to Come

"From 2027 we will work on getting the higher marks in the Grand Prix, ride some bigger shows, and work with the Hungarian team to hopefully start the qualifiers for 2028 L.A. Olympics," said Jazmin. "I really believe and see so much in Jack Black. I think we are just scratching the surface and he has so much we didn’t see yet! The best is definitely yet to come."
