Vitus Niro SH and Vanjour became the best selling foals at two 2026 DSP foal auctions held in July.
Görlitz Summer Weeks: Vitus Niro SH
During the Görlitz summer week international competition a small boutique collection was offered for sale on 19 July 2026. Eight foals were up for auction.
The top seller was Vitus Niro SH (by Vjento x De Niro), bred at Sieberthof. He sold for 21,500 euro to a German bidder.
Colt Empire of Diamonds SH (by Everglow Gold x Total Diamond PS), also bred at Sieberthof, sold for the second best price: 17,500 euro.
Iowa Kingsman (by Iowa Gold x Dynamic Dream) fetched the third price of 8,n500 euro, while Milky Way (by Maxim x Quaterback) went for 7,250 euro. The other four foals did not go over 4,750 euro.
Darmstadt: Vanjour
Best seller was Vanjour (by Vitalis x Bonjour) who sold for 30,500 euro to Astrid Neumayer's Gestüt Pramwaldhof in Austria.
Voreno (by Viva Vitalis x Moreno) sold to an Oldenburg stallion keeper for 30,000 euro. Djamilla (by Debutant x Vitalis) found a new home for 26,500 euro, while Diabolo (by Daan G x Furst Piccolo) sold for 22,500 euro. Samira (by Security x De Niro) went for 21,000 euro.
Billy Boy ES (by Bon Esprit x Furst Grandios) sold for 18,000 euro, Flatrate (by Federer x Diamond Hit) for 17,500 euro, Vita E (by Vitaggio x For Compliment) for 16,000 euro, Violine (by Vjento x De Niro) for 15,500 euro and Fantastic (by Franklin x Quaterback) for 15,000 euro.
Internal Flame (by Independent x Fahrenheit) foes to the U.S.A. for 8,250 euro. A Spaniard bought Element of Dreams (by Erste Sahne x Ampere) for 7,000 euro. A Belgian purchased Fionella (by Feliciano x Vasco da Gama) for 4,750 euro
Of the collection of 85 foals, 27 sold for 10,000 euro or more; 25 foals did not fetch a price higher than 5,750 euro. The average price for a riding horse foal was 9,497 euro.
