British international FEI pony rider Violet Hawkins has found a new future hopeful for the junior division in horse  Micquina TF.

Micquina TF is a 9-year Dutch warmblood mare by Trafalgar out of Haquina TF (by Voice x Sir Donnerhall). She is bred by Jos Felix.

Thomas Bobis

Owned by Debbie Gonzalez, the dark bay mare made her show debut under British based French dressage rider Thomas Bobis in 2023.

The pair debuted in November 2023 at Parwood Equestrian at novice level. In 2024 they competed at the British Young Horse Championships to finish 9th in the 7-year old division.

Bobis moved her up to national small tour level in 2025 and continued to establish her at that level through 2026.

Violet Hawkins

British pony rider Violet Hawkins has now taken over the ride on "Mia."

"Back in may, Thomas asked if I wanted to go and ride some of their horses for some videos," Hawkins explained. "Mia (...) was due to be up for potential sale, when I sat on her, I was completely in love. She is so floaty, forward and willing to ride and loves a hug in the stable."

Hawkins made her international show debut in October 2022 in the children division on Jayne Turney's Cruz (by Caesar) and her own DZL Royal Sunrise (by Domingo's Golden Surprise x Brockwell Prince Charming). She moved both into the pony division in 2024. Since October 2024 she has solely been competing Royal Sunrise at international shows, her last being the CDI Wellington Heckfield in June.

Violet is  from Brackley, Northamptonshire, and trains with Louise Bell.
