Victor sold as a youngster to Blue Hors stud in Denmark.

He was first competed as a 4-year old in 2020 by Tania Joensen. In 2021 Ulrik Falbe-Hansen took over the ride and won the Vilhelmsborg qualifier with him for the 2021 Danish Young Horse Championships. At the Nationals they were fourth in the consolation finals with 81.80 points. Falbe competed Victor through September 2023 up to Intermediaire I level.

The Sand family acquired Victor in November  0223 in one of Blue Hors stock clearance auctions for 40,000 euro.  Pony riding Andrea Hamann Sand took over the ride on Victor as her junior hopeful.

The pair made its international show debut at junior level in Exloo, followed by Hagen. They were nominated on the Danish team for the 2024 Nordic Baltic Championships in Skaarup Fyn, where they won the individual test and finished second in the Kur.

In 2025 the pair competed in Lier, Tolbert and Hagen and fulfilled a dream when they rode at the European Junior Riders Championships in Le Mans, where they were fourth with the team and finished 20th in the individual test.

In 2026 Andrea and Victor campaigned at young riders' level in Lier, Hagen and the European Young Riders Championships in Pilisjaszfalu, where they won team bronze and finished 52nd in the individual test.

New Match Made

Andrea and Victor
Hamann Sand decided to sell the 10-year old Victor to Danish amateur dressage rider Mie Halberg Kähler.

"I'm pinching myself in the arm that we found such a good home for him, where he will be forever and as Mie's teacher and best friend," said Andrea.

When asked why she sold her top horse, the 19-year old Andrea told Eurodressage that "I will focus on my young horse and school. I think Victor deserves to slow down a little bit. I like to educate the young horses and feel the development. They are so workable.  I think it makes me a stronger rider. It is not all about national teams and championships."

Sand is about to graduate from high school, a year later than normal as she took a gap year to work for one year for her trainer at the time, Maik Kohlschmidt. She will now focus on her 5-year old Westfalian bred Dynamic Dino (by Dynamic Dream x Christ) with her new coach, Ditte Mikkelsen, who is based closer to Andrea's home.
