The beginning of 1999 has already marked records for the German Hanoverian Association. For the first time a Hanoverian of a Winter auction has been sold for 100.000 DM. Rosalinde by Ramiro's Son II x Drosselklang is a product of the Hanoverian Show Jumping Progamme of breeder Hermann Schutt from Hemmoor. Rosalinde will be transported to Canada.
117 horses, which delivered an average price of 17.116 DM, were auctioned. 47 horses went abroad. These very high export numbers prove a global affection for the Hannoverian breed. Greece imported one Hanoverian, Italy 7, Canada 16, Luxemburg 1, Mexico 5, Spain 8 and the United States 10.
The 1999 Winter auction presented a group of nice sport horses of which the expectations were higher than presumed. Seven horses were sold for more than 30.000 DM. Second Price-Highlight was the great mover Dream On by Davignon x Itschi who was sold for 45.000 DM. The Rohdiamant x Acapulco-Son Rayman changed barn for 35.000,- DM.
At the end of this successful auction auctioneer Friedrich-Wilhelm Isernhagen announced that the 100th Elite Auktion in April will be celebrated with a special Gala Evening.
1999 Winter Auction of Hanoverian Riding Horses
The cover of this catalog is showing a welcome scene, presented by Dino (sired by Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 1997 Don Juan) ridden by Michel Blaton. The bay gelding, bred by August Harms and born in 1991 out of Wanja by Wienerwald x Archimedes x Senat was sold to Belgium on the 1995's winter auction. After careful promotion and training he is now competing successfully at International Show Jumping Competitions.
This is just one example for the outstanding quality and advantages of Hanoverian horses, whether used for sporting competitions or during leisure time.
