The only Belgian Grand Prix rider who has know such success at international level is Arlette Holsters. Dominating the Belgian Grand Prix circuit like a monopolist, Arlette regularly competes in the FEI World Cup circuit.
With her recent top ten placement at the CDI *** Paris-Bercy, Arlette secured the tenth place in the FEI World Cup standings after 6 shows (out of 12). In Paris she finished 8th in the Short Grand Prix with 66.20%, leaving former Olympic Champion Christine Stuckelberger behind her. Arlette's Kur to Music scored even better (67.51%) but placed her in tenth position.
Arlette rode her Westphalian mare Faible (by Fruhlingsrauch out of a Steinberg dam), who turns 16 this year. With Fleetwood (Westphalian by Funke) and Fortissimo (Westphalian by Foxtrott) Arlette has a nice pair of reserve horses in her defense fpr the future.
