Buckle up for one of the most exciting annual dressage competitions on American soil. Dressage at Devon is coming up, so take out your rain coats and boots, as well as your regular clothes because the weather over there is always unpredictable.

Dressage at Devon is part of a tradition. The Devon Horse Show is America's oldest equestrian competition from which Dressage at Devon sprang. Nostalgia, style and tradition are three key words describing best the atmostphere at DAD. Superlatives are understatements when describing the wonderful competition over there.

Dressage at Devon has been fixedly check marked on my calender and is always worth the 8-hour flight. Taking place the last week of September, DAD is located in Devon, a sleepy village nestled in the lush Philadelphia suburbs. The town is now at its best with the Indian Summer coming round.

Tune into Horsesdaily, dressagedaily and eurodressage regularly the upcoming two weeks, because we are back "On the Scene" as a team for great live coverage pre-, instant- and post-DAD.

By the way, I can't wait to meet the Devon scoring staff (Sandy, Pat and Halina) again after one year being non-communicado.
