German Bred Stallions Sandreo, Florencio and Riverdance Win Third Leg in KWPN Stallion Competition

2004-2005 KNHS/KWPN Stallion Competition

The third leg of the 2004-2005 KWPN/KNHS Stallion competition in Zuidbroek, The Netherlands, was won the German bred stallions Sandreo, Florencio and Riverdance.

At First level (L-level), Hans Peter Minderhoud and the Sandro Hit offspring Sandreo once again reigned supreme with a distinct lead in the ranking. Scoring 82.5 points, Minderhoud and Sandreo have claimed their third consecutive victory in the KWPN Stallion Competition Qualifiers. Placing second was Tuschinski (by Krack C) under Yvonne Copal with 78 points. Trento B ranked third.

World Champion Florencio was unbeatable at second level (M-level). Ridden by his steady rider Hans Peter Minderhoud, Florencio (Florestan x Weltmeyer) scored 82 points and referred the winner of the Weert qualifier, Scandic (Solos Carex x Amiral), to second place. Aboard San Remo (Wolkentanz I x Volturno), Edward Gal ranked third with 75.5 points.

At Fourth level (ZZ-level) Remy Bastings topped the leader board with Riverdance (Weltmeyer x Hill Hawk xx). Scoring 141,5 points, Riverdance beat the Rhinelander bred Charming (Champus x Lancer II) who finised second with 124,5 points. The Dutch bred Prestige VDL (by the Holsteiner Silvano N) tied for second place.
