German Olympic Team member Martin Schaudt will be competing his second Grand Prix horse Loesdau's Loriot for the last time at the CDI Stuttgart, November 18 - 20, 2005. The old bay gelding will begin a new career under Karoline Kniha.
Loesdau's Loriot is a 14-year old Hanoverian gelding by Loredo x Wenzel II and is owned by Jürgen and Beate Loesdau. Under Martin Schaudt, the gelding became the 2000 Regional Champion in Stuttgart and reserve German champion in 2001. At the 2003 German Dressage Championships, the pair won the bronze medal.
The Munich based FEI pony rider Karoline Kniha will continue Loriot's show career and move to the Junior Riders division with him. In 2005, Kniha competed her FEI pony Potron's Lucky Luck.
