Following the outstanding performances of the Dutch youth riders at the CDI Saumur, four riders have been newly added to the A-teams by Chef d'Equipes Jan Peeters and Mieke de Kok.
Young rider Nathalie van den Broek is the rising star in her division. Aboard the chestnut Nifango, she finished fourth in the team and individual test in Saumur. Juniors Frances Blommers (with Rosenthaler) and Marjolein Cho Chia Yuen (with Ghostbuster) are the latest junior riders A-team additions. The 12-year old Maria van den Dungen excelled aboard Milkshake in the FEI Pony division. She finished as third best Dutch combination in all pony classes and placed 9th in the individual kur to music finals in Saumur. Reason enough for Mieke de Kok to add her to the A-team as well.
