Equestrian magazine De Hoefslag reported that Dutch former young rider Dominique Filion has sold her 13-year old mare Les Burga to Dutch junior rider Desiree Senden. Aboard this Dutch warmblood mare by Hemingway x Pretendent Les Burga
, the now 22-year old Filion became Dutch Young Riders Champion in 2002 and she won team gold at the 2002 European Young Riders Championships.
"The sale went really quickly. Desiree asked if she could try her out and they clicked immediately. The same week she got vetted, which was pretty exciting because we had Les Burga since she was a foal and we never had her vet checked. All went well and she's now already stabled at Desiree's," Dominique Filion told De Hoefslag.
Filion currently has her focus on competing Naughty Boy (by Accord II) in the Future Cup, the Dutch equivalant of the German Piaff Forderpreis. She's also showing Rifradin and Pride in the small tour at national shows.
