Irish international rider Katy Price got injured in a bad riding accident last Tuesday June 27, 2006. Price was knocked unconscious in her arena when a young horse reared up just as she mounted.
An air ambulance was dispatched, but Katy was eventually taken by road to hospital where she was out cold for three days. Fortunately Katy sustained no fractures despite bruising to her body and face. She is currently recovering well, and the mother of two has now returned home.
However, on medical advice Price has withdrawn from both French international fixtures - the CDI Vierzon and CDI Pompadour CDI3* which take place mid July. Price is aiming to return to international duty by the end of this month at the CDI Hickstead, July 26-30, 2006.
