Stefan van Ingelgem's 6-year old Hanoverian Warhol has been sold to Mr and Mrs Niclaus of the Royal Etrier Belge in Brussels and will be trained and competed by French Grand Prix rider Ludovic Henry in the future. Due to the sale of Warhol, Van Ingelgem will not be competing this horse
at the 2006 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden (GER) for which he qualified.
"We saw the horse a little less than one year ago and finally decided that he was the perfect fit for our future plans. We are extremely excited about that," Henry told Eurodressage. "Mr and Mrs Niclaus' philosophy concerning Warhol's career is to build him in the bests conditions to reach Grand Prix level, which explains the reason of their decision to not send Warhol to Verden."
Henry also competes Mr Niclaus' Grand Prix horse Saygon at Grand Prix level. The combination is coached by Jacques Henri Menard and Monica Teodorescu, the technical adviser of the French team.
