Advent a Jour, a 6-year old chestnut gelding by Aktuell x Aleksander, became the price highlight of the 2006 Mixed Sales Auction in Vechta, Germany. Canadian Evi Strasser acquired the Danish bred FEI level trained Oldenburger for 82,500 euro. Strasser, who is a regular customer at Vechta, bought three more horses in this auction.
New clients from Austria purchased the licensed stallion Smashing Hit (by Sandro Hit x Justinian xx) for 40,000 euro. The same client also acquired Furstenstein (Furst Heinrich x Rubinstin) and St.Pr.A Giselle. German horse dealer Bernhard Scharffer paid 41,000 euro for Dropkick (Donnerschwee x Ex Libris).
Marta Kaufmann, producer of the American tv-series "Friends," came to Vechta on another shopping spree. She paid 45,000 euro for Dance Fire (Donnerschwee x Freedom) and 42,000 euro for the pony Calero WE (Courage x Diamant II).
