Belgian pony chef d'equipe Laurence van Doorslaer keeps her plate full now that she has also been appointed as chef d'equipe of the Belgian Junior and Young Riders.
Former chef Cory Verbocht handed in his resignation a few weeks ago and it was accepted by the Belgian Dressage Committee. The committee agreed to hand over the function of Chef to Van Doorslaer, who has been a very important driving force in Belgium for the promotion of dressage amongst youth riders.
Due to Verbocht's resignation, Belgium no longer has a chef d'equipe for the senior riders, the function Verbocht took upon self in 2006. The committee is currently carring out interviews but there have been no concrete applicants so far. In the meantime, the national commitee will execute the duties of the chef d'equipe, the administrative part will be handled by Dominique Rimanque.
