The French dressage association Top Dressage Team is organizing an evening debate on the topic of judging with national judges, officials of the French Equestrian Federation and of the Rhone Alpes region, as well as riders and show organizers attending.
Nadine Cochenet (President of the French Dressage Committee), O-judge Bernard Maurel, Dressage Task Force Member and French team trainer Alain Franqueville, and U.S. Grand Prix rider Catherine Haddad are only a few prominent figures who will be present at this event.
Top Dressage Team has invited CERN physicist David Stickland as keynote speaker to this event which will take place in the historic town of Pérouges, France, on 29 March 2010 at 19h30. Stickland will present his statistical analysis of the judging system, which he made in assignment of the FEI and which was featured at the 2009 Global Dressage Forum. His findings should make us better understand current judging and make progress in today's judging system.
