Dieter Rippe's 4-year old grey mare Calidian Sun became the price highlight of the 2010 November Auction of Hanoverian Sport Horses in Verden on 5 - 6 November 2010.
The show jumping bred but dressage trained Calido x Saskan x Froben mare sold for 41,000 euro to Colombia.
The top selling show jumper was Cornet's Gold (by Cornet Obolensky x Landgold) which sold for 38,000 euro to the U.S.A.
The second most expensive dressage horse was the 5-year old Hanoverian gelding Hamilton. This His Highness x Wolkenstein II x Matcho AA sold for 40,000 euro to a Baden Wurttemberg based dressage rider. The 3-year old liver chestnut gelding Daktari (by Dauphin x Waikiki x World Cup I) sold for 32,000 euro to the U.S.A.
102 horses were listed for sale, 91 horses sold at auction and they achieved an average price of 14,565 euro.
