Martin Schaudt acquired the price highlight of the second Hanoverian auction held in the Hessian town of Alsfeld, Germany, on 20-21 November 2010. He purchased the 4-year old black mare Reglisse (by Rascalino x Woodstock) for 42,000 euro.
The second highest priced horse was Let's Dance (by London Swing x Silvano) which sold for 41,000 euro to a training stable in Lower Saxony. The most expensive show jumper was the 4-year old mare Sherry (by Stolzenberg x Graf Grannus). A Russian buyer paid 32,000 euro for her.
Thirty-eight horses sold for an average price of 14,831 euro.
Auctioneer Friedrich-Wilhelm Isernhagen was pleased with the results. "It is a really good year end-result. The people come here with enthusiasm which impresses."
Hanoverian breeding director Dr. Werner Schade said that "with the second edition in Alsfeld we took a clear step forward. The improved quality in horses paid off. New clients from Hessia, south Germany as well as international clients have bought horses. The first gala evening was well visited. The team did a super job."
