The 2010 Oldenburg licensing champion has a name and the location where he will be stations is known as well. The grey Don Schufro x Sandro Hit x Calypso I champion is called "De Martino" and he will be based near the North Sea at Stallion Station Folkers in Nordergarms

Cees Slings, kur composer of the biggest dressage riders in the world, has been spotted at the 2011 Palm Beach Dressage Derby in Loxahatchee, Florida, where he is discussing two new commissions for an international Grand Prix rider. We also heard that he is currently wrapping up two new freestyles for two European Young Riders: for Noemie Goris on her new phenomenal horse Ucelli T and for Sanneke Rothenberger and her rising Grand Prix horse Wolke Sieben.

British Grand Prix rider Amy Stovold has confirmed that in April she is to move to extensive new premises at Exfold Farm, based in Rudgwick, West Sussex. Amy was originally based at Exfold at the very start of her career whilst working for Dorte Semler before setting up her own training yard in West Sussex, and where world-renowned dressage rider and trainer Kyra Kyrklund came to be based. Amy is now set to return to the equestrian centre, and will capitalise upon the world-class facilities available to her at Exfold, thus continuing her quest to represent Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympics.

The Dressage Canada Competitions Committee regrets to inform the Dressage Community of the cancellation of the 2011 Blainville CDI and Gold show scheduled for June of this year. This was a decision made by the organizing committee of the event based on a variety of factors that they felt prohibited the event from being successful; including an unusually high number of National competitions in the Eastern region this year offering qualifying classes for upcoming Pan American Games. Dressage Canada recognizes that this competition is an important, long-standing competition on the show calendar, and will endeavour to support the return of the show on the 2012 calendar.

Former Australian young rider Briana Burgess has moved from Monica Theodorescu's stable in Sassenberg, Germany, to work for Australian Olympic rider Hayley Beresford, who is based at Stallion Station Schmidt in Lippental, Germany. Briana's working student position with Monica was a normal working student type deal, incorporating everything that falls under the heading of horse and stable care. In November 2010, Briana decided it was time to try something new, and after a trip home to Oz for some r&r, she began working for Hayley in February. Read more about it on Cyberhorse.

Belgian WEG team horse Whitney van 't Genthof has a new rider. Belgian owner Van Malderen and Whitney's former trainer and rider Stefan van Ingelgem have gone separate ways and as of now the Belgian warmblood stallion (by Ferro) will be ridden by Hans Peter Minderhoud.

Triple silver WEG medallist Laura Bechtolsheimer has acquired a new youngster for the future. Her parents purchased a 3-year old chestnut stallion by For Compliment x Royal Dance from Kerstin Klieber in Germany. Check out a video of this new hot horse here
