Branduardi and Wilson Pickett First at the 2011 Wolfsburg Bundeschampionate Qualifier

2011 Bundeschampionate Qualifiers

Branduardi and Wilson Pickett dominated the young horse classes at the big regional show in Wolfsburg, Germany on 11 June 2011. The duo reigned supreme in the Bundeschampionate qualification tests and earned their ticket to the Finals in Warendorf in September. Four horses in total obtained the criterium of 8.0 or higher in Wolfsburg.

Kathrin Meyer zu Strohen and the Hanoverian branded Branduardi (by Breitling W x Weltmeyer) topped the leader board in the 5-year old L-level dressage horse test with a strong 8.5 score. The stallion is bred by Christian Heinrich and owned by Kathrin's father Klaus Dänzer. Yvonne Reiser and the Hanoverian licensed stallion Royal Classic (by Royal Highness x Florestan x Landadel) finished second with 8.4. They were followed by Ilsemarie Berkenbusch on the Hanoverian Radscha (by Rotspon) with 8.0.

Only two horses are entered in the 6-year old M-level test and the winner qualified for Warendorf. Esher Maruhn and the Hanoverian Wilson Pickett (by Wolkentanz I) scored 8.3 and referred Jessica Otten-Willers on Sagnol (by San Remo x A Jungle Prince) to a second place with 7.7.
