The stage is set: the collection for the fourth Classical Sales Warendorf auction is now online, accompanied by photos and videos. Twenty-two horses from different German breeding areas, including two stallions, form the very interesting collection of the 2012 Classica Sales Warendorf Auction which takes place in Warendorf, Germany on 29 March 2012.
“It is probably the best collection that we have ever had,” said CSW co-initiator Fabian Scholz.
The auction, which will be held on March 29 at the Wietelshof in Warendorf, consists mainly of four- and five-year-olds, but there is also a three-year-old and a six-year-old; all have sought-after bloodlines. The first and only presentation of the auction horses will take place on March 25 at 11am.
Sires include the international Grand Prix stallion Damon Hill; Florencio, the twice winner of the World Championships for Young Dressage horses; the sensational sire Fidertanz, producer of several licensed stallions; and the stallion licensing champions Hotline, Dancier, and Status Quo.
“We have placed a lot of emphasis on the horses’ strength of movement as well as rideability. Some have already been competed successfully while, for others, Classical Sales Warendorf will be their first public appearance. And we know the history and background of all of them”, said Pferdewirtschafsmeisterin and co-initiator Susanne Miesner. “We have horses with great futures in the collection, be it as partners for ambitious goals at the top of the sport or as more mid-range priced, but still very talented, youngsters.”
The fourth CSW auction will have a “Rock ‘n’ Roll” theme. Every auction horse will be given a name inspired by this lively music genre, and a relevant song will accompany them throughout their appearances both in the videos and at the Wietelshof. Jerry Lee, Chubby Checker, Mister Presley, Eddy Cochran and many more are waiting to be discovered at the CSW auction on March 29 at 7pm!
