Spanish team trainers Jan Bemelmans and Ralph Michael Rash are returning to Spain to conduct a clinic with the Grand Prix and youth riders to assist them in their preparation for the CDI 3* in Toledo, Spain on 29 March - 8 April 2012.
Rash will coach the short listed youth riders as well as the rising combinations in those age categories, which are set to show at the two consecutive dressage competitions in Toledo. The aim of the Toledo CDI's is for riders to achieve the selection criteria for the 2012 European Junior and Young Riders Championships, to be held in Berne, Switzerland, in July.
Beatriz Ferrer-Salat will be making her long-awaited come back with Delgado (by De Niro) at the Toledo event. The chestnut gelding was injured for two years and set to return to the show ring in November 2011 at the CDI Stuttgart, but the horse knocked himself in the warm up. Ferrer-Salat will also make her Prix St Georges debut aboard Sir Radjah.
Quite a few rising Grand Prix pairs are scheduled to compete in Toledo: Jose Raga on Universalis, Antonio Diaz Porras on Xenofonte, Nuria Vila Perez on Finja, Diana Ostariz with Gumiel and Claudio Castilla Ruiz with Musico.
