Dehli and Dornvelder, Top Sellers at 2012 Hanoverian Autumn Elite Auction

Two dressage horses, Dehli and Dornvelder, became the top selling horses of the 2012 Hanoverian Autumn Elite Auction in Verden, Germany, on 13 October 2012. The 70-year old auctioneer Friedrich-Wilhelm Isernhagen worked his one before last auction in his career but was unable to knock the hammer down on a price above 100,000 euro.

The two top horses both sold fro 80,000 euro. The state premium candidate Dehli (by Duino x Furst Heinrich) sold the Sachsen-Anhalt based dressage and breeders' couple Schmidt.

The 3-year old chestnut Dornvelder (by Desperados x Ehrenwort) sold for the top price to the U.S.A.

The best selling show jumper was Cosima (by Chacco Blue x Plural) which sold for 75,000 euro to an American buyer. The 4-year old jumper Schaljapin (by Stakkato x Pablo) sold for 67,000 euro to Great Britain.

The second most expensive dressage horse was the 3-year old Hanoverian gelding Dance on Top (by Dancier x Fürst Heinrich) which sold for 75,000 € to a client from Westfalia.

The third best selling dressage horse was the 4-year old mare Saucy Deluxe (by Stedinger x Wolkentanz) which sold for 72,000 euro to Great Britain.

The 3-year old mare Sierra Tiquilla (by Scolari x Conteur) sold for 67,000 to Mr. Ruddat, sponsor of Kathrin Meyer zu Strohen.

Heinrich Kampmann acquired the 4-year old mare Sardera S (by Sandro Hit x Londonderry) for 52,000 euro.

Forty-two foals were auctioned in Verden and the best selling foal was the jumper bred Beppino (by Balou de Rouet x Compliment), which sold for 20,000 euro.

The average price for a sport horse was 31,782 euro and for a foal 6,659 euro.
