Hooge Mierde - For the 15th edition of the Global Dressage Forum we would like to celebrate and learn from the greatest dressage horses in history. Ten horses have been selected, based on the criteria of winning an individual gold medal at Olympic Games- World Championships- or winning the World Cup Final, by the programme committee and members of the dressage community.
During the Global Dressage Forum on 26-27 October we will honour and look back at the great achievements of six of these horses. We will invite the rider, owner, breeder and/or groom and learn all about their personal story and the real character of these elite stars. What made these horses so special and what made them better than their opponents?
The following horses were selected: Rembrandt (Nicole Uphoff), Matador (Kyra Kyrklund), Valegro (Charlotte Dujardin), Corlandus (Margit Otto-Crépin), Totilas (Edward Gal), Salinero (Anky van Grunsven), Ahlerich (Reiner Klimke), Granat (Christine Stückelberger), Gigolo (Isabell Werth) and Bonfire (Anky van Grunsven).
But we need your help! We need you to tell us which of these horses should be in the final group of the world’s six greatest dressage stars and to be honoured at the 2015 Global Dressage Forum in October. Please tell us by voting! You can give your top 3 votes until the 1st of July.
