The black Oldenburg gelding Furtwängler became the price highlight of the 2015 Oldenburg Autumn Elite Auction in Vechta, Germany, on Saturday 3 October 2015.
The black Furst Wilhelm x Dornenkönig x Weltmeyer offspring sold for 135,000 euro to regular clients from Spain.
The second most expensive horse was the show jumper Casablanca (by Cashmaker x For the Moon), which found new German owners for 67,000 euro.
Other dressage highlights in the collection included the dark bay stallion Furst Ramiro M (by Furstenball x Sunny Boy x Ramiro's Match), who moves to Hamburg for 56,000 euro. The chestnut gelding Brighton (by Bordeaux x Sandro Song x Ladalco) sold for 49,000 euro to The Netherlands.
Top prices were paid for the foals in this elite auction. The top seller was the black colt AC/DC (by Apache x Danone x Latimer) which sold to a Danish dressage stable for 60,000 euro. Serbian clients paid 45,000 euro for Fahrer Marsch (by Fahrenheit x De Niro).
The black filly Flor Dressage, who is the 2015 German Filly Foal Champion, sold to the Ukraine for 30,000 euro. Ukrainian clients also bought the chestnut colt Vivantello (by Vivaldi x Samarant x Rubinstein) for 35,000 euro.
American Jamie White-Welling bought the black solt Buenos Ferro (by Bordeaux x Don Schufro x Ferro) for 30,000 euro. The black filly Loblied (by Daily Deal x Fidertanz) moves to the Westfalian area for 32,000 euro.
The average price for a sport horse at this auction was 33,425 euro, the average price for a foal was 15,515 euro.
