Adelinde Cornelissen has announced that she will be making her next come back on the 18-year old Dutch warmblood gelding Parzival (by Jazz x Ulft) at the 2015 CDI-W Stockholm in Sweden on 27 - 28 November 2015.

Holland's former number one dressage duo and most successful medal winning combination of recent years since Van Grunsven/Salinero and Gal/Totilas has not shown in five months. The pair competed last at the 2015 CDIO Rotterdam in June and finished third in the 3* Grand Prix with 74.420%. They scratched for the freestyle. Dutch team trainer Wim Ernes at the time announced that he would no longer consider the duo for Dutch team selection.

A disappointed Cornelissen did not voice any plans of retiring her 18-year old mount, just yet. In June 2015 she stated: "As long as he still enjoys the game and can participate, the possibility will be there that I appear at a show," said Cornelissen.
"This won't happen if I have the feeling that it's just for show. I
haven't made a plan yet, but it is possible that I will still compete
him this winter show season. A retirement sometimes crosses my mind. It
will be in 2016 but I don't know yet the exact moment and location."

The pair's comeback has now been planned for the World Cup Qualifier in Stockholm. In an interview with Ridsport, Cornelissen stated that "it will be very exciting to ride in the new arena. I have great memories from riding in Sweden."

Cornelissen and Parzival won the Stockholm World Cup qualifier three times: in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
