The 4-year old recently performance tested Swedish warmblood licensed stallion Fairway has stopped breeding and has been relocated to Germany, where he will continue his career in sport.
The black Swedish warmblood Fairway is by Floricello x Sandro Hit and is bred by Helene and Anders Johansson. He is owned by Björkås C& Hemmingsen.
"I have already taken him to Anna Sophie Fiebelkorn in Germany," owner Jörgen Hemmingsen of Stable Waldhof in Skåne, Sweden, told Ridsport. The stallion has not received that many mares this season and "the chance is that he will be worth more when he is in sport," Hemmingsen added.
Fairway successfully completed his Stallion Performance Test on 13 March 2016 at the Swedish state stud in Flyinge and began breeding shortly afterwards. However, he will now be focused on sport instead. The successful young horse trainer Fiebelkorn will be developing the young stallion.
"It is already working well," said Jorgen. "We will try to qualify him for the Bundeschampionate this year and then we hope the World Young Horse Championships next year."
