Denmark's leading dressage stallion station Blue Hors Stud will be hosting a spectacular online stallion show on 13 March 2021 at 18:00.
This is a unique opportunity to see Blue Hors' stallion roster of 2021 being presented on Clip My Horse (in German) and on Blue Hors (in English).
Stallions for Top Sport Dressage
Blue Hors represents the best and most powerful European bloodlines.
Unlike many other stallion stations, Blue Hors upholds the tradition of pursuing sport careers for their sires at the highest level. With a proven record of results, Blue Hors proudly stands internationally competed Grand Prix horses Zack, Don Olymbrio, and St. Schufro and built its foundation on the late Olympic team bronze medal winning Don Schufro. Small tour star Farrell is soon making the transition to Grand Prix.
"Not many studs can show a record of results on stallions who are active in breeding as well in sport," Blue Hors stated. "We have the same expectations for our new rising stars, of which we are sure they have the quality and potential to make it to top level."
The 2021 Blue Hors stallion rosters boasts many wonderful stallions that can enable an ideal match with any type of mare. Two newcomers to the roster and Blue Hors Nixon and Blue Hors Spectrum.
Blue Hors Nixon
The 3-year old KWPN licensed stallion Blue Hors Nixon (by Totilas x Jazz x Rubinstein) combines the best of Holland and Germany.
This modern and sporty stallion has lots of nobility and merges athleticism, performance and rideability. His bloodlines include three sires which have produced Grand Prix offspring of the highest level.
"We are incredibly happy for this still very young Totilas son in whom we see a great potential for development. Totilas' offspring are usually not as flashy as young horses, but we have seen numerous examples of their potential under rider. Nixon shows a lot of power in trot and a convincing canter and walk. He has a super good hind leg," said Klavsen.
Blue Hors Spectrum
The 3-year old Oldenburg licensed Blue Hors Spectrum (by Sezuan x Sandro Hit x Lanciano).
Spectrum combines the bloodlines of the modern triple World Young Horse Champion with the proven lines of Sandro Hit in combination with show jumping blood by Lanciano. Spectrum is out of a very strong damline, which produced Olympic Grand Prix mare Wansuela Suerte, World Young Horse Champion Scara Boa and the very own Blue Hors Farrell.
Spectrum will be up for licensing in Danish Warmblood and Hanover in 2021.
"In Spectrum type and function match up with a strong pedigree, and we are very excited to show him to the breeders," said Blue Hors breeding director Martin Klavsen.
