The 5-year olds First Prince and Fille D'Or and the 6-year old Belle Amie won the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional shows in Rheinzabern on 15 May 2022 and in Samern on 13 May.
Rheinzabern: First Prince and Belle Amie
A small field of 8 competitors contested the L-level test for 5-year olds. Judged by Plewa, Rassmann and Strohbücker, the class yielded Denise Ewenz on Gut Birkenhof's Hanoverian stallion First Prince as winner with 8.3 points. The Furstenball x Wolkenstein II offspring received 7.5 for walk, 9 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Hannah Rother and Dorothee Schneider's Westfalian stallion Bombino Bianco (by Benicio x Ferragamo) were second with 8.2.
Eight pairs competed in the M-level test for 6-year olds, which was judged by Rassmann, Strohbucker and Eckle. Corinna May and Gestut Fohlenhof's Hanoverian mare Belle Amie (by Borsalino x Weltmeyer) topped the board with 8.2. The liver chestnut mare got 8 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 8 for canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression. Anna-Lisa Schepper and Silvia Walter's DSP mare EMH Rock 'n Rose (by Rock My Soul x Sir Donnerhall) were the runners-up with 8.1 points.
Samern: Fille D'Or
The regional show in Samern on 14 May 2022 only held a qualifier for 5-year olds, judged by Peter Mannheims, Catrin Wingender and Meike Schmidt. No less than 20 pairs contested the L-level dressage horse test.
Lisa Marie Koch and Mireille Segatz-Bunte's Oldenburg mare Fille d'Or (by St. Schufro x Fidertanz) ruled the class and won with 8.3 points. Hermann Burger and Heinrich Ramsbrock's DSP stallion Davos (by De Kooining x Destano) tied in second place on 8.10 points with Charlott-Maria Schurmann on Claus Niedner's Hanoverian stallion Life Time (by Livaldon x Furstenball).
