The colt King Kjento became the best selling foal in a capsule collection which was offered up for auction at the 2022 CDI Ludwigsburg on Saturday 24 September 2022.

A collection of 16 hand-picked foals were presented for sale to the audience at Ludwigsburg, although bidding could also be done online.  Torrential downpours of rain did not dampen the spirits as the foals were presented under floodlight and sold well.

The colt King Kjento (by Kjento x Grey Flanell) became the price highlight. Bred by Daniel Kinzler, he sold for 49,000 euro to online bidders from Bavaria.

Two more foals sold for more than 40,000 euro! Dynamic Special GE (by Dynamic Dream x Grey Flanell) sold for 47,000 euro to The Netherland. He is bred by Sandy Pöhler. Great Boy (by Glamourdale x Brisbane), bred by Caroline Tanner, fetched 41,000 euro from an online customer.

Isabell Werth's sponsor and Austrian Olympian Victoria Max-Theurer bought a foal together: Valeria (by Va Bene x Sir Donnerhall). They pair 35,000 euro for this filly, bred by Sebastian Kopp.

Total Success (by Total Hope x Zalando), bred by Alexander Bock, went for 19,000 euro, Van de Hit (by Va Bene x De Niro) for 16,000 euro, and Violine (by Va Bene x Ampere) for 15,000 euro.

Dance with Me (by Dancier Gold x For Romance) fetched 15,500 euro. Elvis Presley (by Ellis x Fiderbach) sold for 13,500 euro, Sansibar (by Santos x Sir Donnerhall) for 12,000 euro.

All 16 foals sold to new owners and the average price was 19,093 euro.
