The Belgian equestrian federation held its second and final team selection trial for the 2023 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo and has named the team horses.
The first selection trial took place at SBH Dressage Stable in Vrasene on 21 June 2021 and was judged by Gert-Jan van Olst, Michele Bouvy, and Gaston Croonen. Eleven horses in total in three age divisions were selected for the second trial which was organized at Haras du Roua in Hannuit on 5 July.
At the second trial the selectors were Dr. Ulf Moller and judges Dominique Rimanque and Freddy Leyman. Ten horses were presented to the panel. Only Belgian bred and registered horses were considered as per WBFSH directives.
