Italian Horses Selected for 2023 World Young Horse Championships

The dressage department of the Italian Equestrian federation has announced the nominated horses that will represent Italy at the 2022 World Championships for young dressage horses in Ermelo on 3 - 6 August 2023. 

Team captain Marina Sciocchetti will accompany the pairs in Ermelo.  Italy has one starting place per age category.

Representing Italy are:

5-year olds

  • Francesco Sangiorgi on Bonso (Hanoverian by Bon Coeur x Santino)
    • Reserve: Nausicaa Maroni – Zambrone (Westfalian by Zoom x Biasini)  

6-year olds

  • Francesca Rapazzoli – Drop of Fonteabeti  (Hanoverian by Franklin x Don Gregory) 

7-year olds

  • Andrea Sangiorgi – Soiree's Night PS (Hanoverian by Soiree d'Amour x Negro)
    • Reserve: Nausicaa Maroni – Franky di Fonteabeti (Hanoverian by Franklin x Wynton) 

The definite entry deadline is 19 July.
