Theodore became the best selling foal in yet another KWPN Online Foal Auction which the Dutch breed society held. The bidding concluded on 16 October 2023.
No less than 40 foals were offered for sale in this auction. They were show jumping and dressage bred.
Theodore (by Franklin x Sorento) was the price highlight, selling to a Dutch buyer for 15,000 euro. The second most expensive dressage foal was Tamarzar (by Glamourdale x Jazz) who will move to Norway for 12,000 euro.
Three foals sold over 10,000 euro, all the rest sold for under 7,000 euro.
Americans bought Topaz Heroique (by Osaka x Johnson) for 6,500 euro, Treasure (by Extreme US x Everdale) fetched 6,000 euro.
Portuguese clients purchased Thyramorette (by Zackerey x High Five) for 5,500 euro, while a Belgian bought Triks (by Olaf Official x Van Gogh) for 4,250 euro. A Spaniard purchased Tiamo van de Vennen (by McLaren x Weltino) and Twilight (by Jameson x Joop TC) for 3,750 euro. A German got Tender (by Kjento x Charmeur) for 3,500 euro, while a Frenchman purchased Thoby (by Ferguson x United) for 3,250 euro.
Three foals received no bids.
