Aloga Auction Forges Strategic Partnership with Esteemed Equestrians Sönke Rothenberger, Morgan Barbançon, and Maurice Tebbel

Aloga Auction is pleased to announce a prestigious collaboration with three distinguished figures in the equestrian world: Sönke Rothenberger, Morgan Barbançon Mestre, and Maurice Tebbel.

This strategic partnership signifies a significant milestone for Aloga Auction as these accomplished athletes contribute their passion and expertise to elevate the presentation of elite dressage horses.

Aloga Auction

Aloga Auction, founded by Bertram Allen, his brother Harry Allen, and their friend Maxi Lill, is dedicated to presenting and auctioning elite horses in the realms of show jumping and dressage. Established in 2021 at the Allen brothers' residence in Germany, the venture expanded its horizons in 2022 with the addition of Laurens Meynaert, leading to the creation of the Aloga Auction at Sentower Park. In 2023, the auction achieved remarkable success. Among the highlights was the sale of Kumina, who emerged as the World Champion in Lankan after being auctioned in this prestigious event.

Witness the joining of forces in show jumping and dressage excellence on May 6th and 7th, 2024. The Show jumping Auction will commence on May 6th, 2024, followed by the Dressage Auction on May 7th, 2024, hosted at the esteemed Sentower Park, Belgium. Attendees can anticipate two evenings of elegance, class, and world-class horses.

Meet the Aloga Auction Team Members

Morgan Barbançon Mestre, an Olympic dressage rider representing Spain and France, brings extensive experience and a discerning eye for developing emerging equine talents. With a distinguished track record in World Cups, Grands Prix, and Championships, coupled with high-level placements at Grand Prix events, Morgan adds considerable value to the Aloga Auction team.

Sönke Rothenberger, who was crowned the German Dressage Champion in 2018 and Team Olympic Champion in 2016, imparts a sense of equestrian excellence to this collaboration. His additional accolades as Team European Champion in 2017 and 2019 underscore his commitment to the sport, aligning seamlessly with Aloga Auction's ethos of promoting excellence in equestrianism.

Maurice Tebbel, celebrated for his success in showjumping at European championships, Olympics, and championships, shares a particular affiliation with Maxi Lill and the Aloga Auction team. Beyond his showjumping prowess, Maurice's passion for dressage is evident as he actively acquires, nurtures, and breeds promising talents in the discipline.

Harry Allen, a winner of the coveted Longines Rising Star award, the Lanaken 7-year-old championship and 5 European championship medals, including double gold at the Pony European Championships and a bronze medal at the 2022 Young Rider European championships, Harry has a keen interest and attention to detail in developing young horses, this alongside his top placings in 5* Grand Prix's has allowed Harry to create a sharp eye for horses that can reach the highest level of the sport.

Bertram Allen is one of the youngest-ever stars of the sport. He started his interest in horses at a young age and never looked back. His achievements include representing Ireland at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, numerous international 5* Grand Prix wins, Nations Cups and European Championships medals, and being the youngest-ever winner of a Global Champions Tour Grand Prix. Maxi grew up with horses and developed a passion from an early age. A Junior German Champion in Aachen and a member of a winning Nations Cup with the German Team, Maxi has many notable achievements in the sport. His young success in the industry is a testament to Maxi’s ability and eye to find high-quality young horses and develop them to the top of the sport.

Laurens Meynaerts is the General Manager of Sentower Park in Belgium. With him, the team gains a well-experienced event manager, sports director and a venue to scout for young horses. Laurens will once again transform the superb facilities of Sentower Park into a remarkable auction venue.
