Viva Arosa Almost Hits 100,000 Euro Marker in First Oldenburg Online Foal Auction of 2024

The filly Viva Arosa became the undisputed price highlight of the first Oldenburg Online Foal Auction of 2024, selling for almost 100,000 euro.

Twenty foals were offered for sale and the bidding closed on 15 May 2024.

Viva Arosa (by Viva Gold x Millennium x Desperados), bred by Werner Bertke from Löningen, sold to a stud in Lower Saxony for 99,500 euro. Her dam Alexandria is the sister of the auction horses Dante's Peak (by Dante Weltino), Basil Smash (by Bernay) and Virados (by Viva Gold). 

Three more foals sold for more than 10,000 euro, the others stayed under the 10K marker. Tiana (by Toto Gold x San Amour) went for 12,000 euro.

The most expensive jumper sold for 11,500 euro and that was V-Energy (by Verdi - I'm Special de Muze - Chacco-Blue). He moves to Austria. Jumper Zarrina du Moulin (by Zirocco Blue) sold for 11,000 euro to the U.K. The majority of the jumper foals sold abroad.

Only one dressage bred foal sold abroad. Swedish clients bought Viva Zapata (by V-Power x Romanov) for 6,000 euro.

The average price for a foal was 12,175 euro.
