Valergo, Price Highlight of the 2024 Hanoverian Broodmare and Foal Auction

Valergo (not a typo!) - by V-Power x Danone

Valergo became the price highlight of the Hanoverian "OnLive" Broodmare and foal auction for which the bidding concluded on 9 August 2024. 

A collection of no less than 115 mares and foals was offered for sale in this hybrid auction with live and online bidding. 

The chestnut colt Valergo (by V-Power x Danone) sold for the highest price of the day: 51,000 euro. He is bred and owned by Alois Wester and will move to the USA.

The second most expensive foal was Van Dango (by V-Power x Feinrich) which sold for 36,000 euro to Sweden. The buckskin Que Bonito (by Qandide x San Amour) went for 33,000 euro to a Danish stallion rearer.

Estefhan (by Escanto PS x Finest) fetched 26,500 euro, Emiliano (by Escamillo x Furstenball) 24,000 euro, and Dexter (by Despacito x Quasar de Charry) 22,000 euro. Bengalo (by Bonds x Revolution) went for 19,500 euro.

The most expensive broodmare was Furstin Fiolina (by Furst Jazz x Sir Oldenburg) which sold for 13,500 euro.

A Czech buyer got Vaya Con Dios (by Vitalos x Zack) for 6,250 euro, and a French buyer secured Empire (by Escaneno x Sandro Hit) for 5,750 euro. Bellariva (by Bonhoeffer x Florenz) sold to Ukraine for 5,250 euro. A Swiss bought Erste Liebe (by Este Sahne x Rotspon) for 4,000 euro.

Moving to Spain are broodmare Indian Summer Sun (by Il Divo xx x Weltmeyer) and colt Bon Noir (by Bon Esprit x Scuderia) for 4,500 euro.
