Ground Jury Appointed for the 2025 European Children and Junior Championships

The FEI has appointed the ground jury for the 2025 European Championships for Children and Junior Riders in Le Mans (FRA) on 28 July – 3 August 2025.

Le Mans secured the allocation for the Children and Junior Euros in 2023.  They also added a pony Euros to their plate after Kronenberg (NED) pulled out for financial reasons. 

The equestrian center "Pôle Europeen du Cheval" is very experienced at hosting national and international equestrian competition. In 2023 they hosted the European Pony Championships. 

The ground jury for the ponies is not yet known.

The ground jury for the 2025 edition includes:

Children

  • Sandrine Trimborn (FRA) - president
  • Thomas Kessler (GER)
  • Lars Andersson (SWE)
  • Janine van Twist (NED)
  • Eva Maria Vint-Warmington (EST) 

Ponies

  • to be determined

Junior Riders

  • Alban Tissot (FRA) - president
  • Sven Rothenberger (NED)
  • Susanne Baarup (DEN)
  • Knut Danzberg (GER)
  • Alice Schwab (AUT)

The reserve judge is Kirsten Sogaard (DEN). 

The foreign technical deligate will be Jacques van Daele (BEL), the chief steward is Petra Choch (AUT). 

Andres Gardner (GBR) is the representative for the Judging Supervisory Panel.
