Two of the three participating stallions passed the 2025 KWPN spring stallion performance testing in Ermelo, which concluded on 15 March 2025.
The 21-day spring testing was only open to 4-year old and older stallions as the 3-year olds will have to do their testing in the autumn.
Sarai L and Nashville WS got their breeding permit, while Rishano Fornaio (4-yo, by Kjento x Rousseau) did not finish the testing. The KWPN stallion licensing committee no longer announces scores which makes it confusing to analyse how good the stallions are.
The 4-year old Sarai L (by Secret x For Romance) is bred in Denmark by L Horses and owned by Stal van de Sande. He is already Danish, Oldenburg and NRPS licensed and now KWPN can be added to his tally. Sarai is recommended to improve the conformation and movement technique in trot and canter.
The 7-year old Nashville SW (by Secret x Jazz) is bred by Stal Willig and owned by M Te Brake. He is the Pavo Cup champion and competed at the World Young Horse Championships. The committee praised him for his great rideability.
