The Swedish Equestrian Federation has decided on its team for the 2025 European Dressage Championships in Crozet, France, on 26 - 31 August 2025.
Sweden will be fielding a mix of experienced and upcoming riders, captained by Stefan Jansson who will represent Sweden at his first Championship in this role after succeeding Bo Jena.
The Swedish team includes:
- Patrik Kittel – Touchdown
- Tinne Vilhelmson Silfvén – Hyatt
- Maria von Essen – Invoice
- Sofie Lexner – Inoraline W
First reserve is Caroline Darcourt – Bournonville.
"It is a team with good qualities and a mix of experience and growth," said Jansson. "Everyone has achieved great results internationally during the year, including in Aachen which was our rehearsal for the European Championship. It is very exciting and it has been a fun journey during the year where I have gotten to know the riders in a different way than just as a fellow rider. We have a very good cohesion and it feels stable and safe for me to also have Lussan (Louise Nathhorst, national team coach) with us who has so much experience under her belt."
