
Daisy Deluxe and Ella Maxima became the price highlight of the 51st Hanoverian Elite Foal and Broodmare Auction held live in open air in Verden, Germany, on 26 July 2025.
With a huge lot of foals and mares, 116 in total, this auction was a marathon. Three of them were broodmares, the rest foals.
The highest price was paid for the 6-year old broodmare Ella Maxima (by Escolar x Numero Uno). Bred and owned by Rhenania Pferde, she sold for 50,000 euro to a local bidder. The mare is in foal to Daan G.
The most expensive foal was Daisy Deluxe (by De Sandro x Vivino), bred by Michael Niethammer). Two weeks ago she was awarded the gold premium as the winning foal at the show in Linkenheim-Hochstedten and now sold for 35,000 euro.
Quite a group of foals sold for over 20,000 euro: Eldorado (by Escamillo x Don Romantic) for 28,500 euros, Va Piano TH (by Von Und Zu x San Amour) for 27,500 euros, Va la Vie (by Va Bene x Quaterback) for 26,000 euro. Der Schöne (by Despacito x Floriscount) had 35 bids that ended in a hammer price of 25,000 euro.
Bee Honey G (by Be Sure x Fürstenball) sold for 25,500 euro to Poland, Vigo TO (by Van Gaal x Fantastic) for 25,000 euro, and Venena Dia (by Veneno x De Niro) for 20,000 euros.
A paint coloured colt Unique (by Ulyss Morinda x Stolzenberg) sold for 18,000 euro.
Polish clients also bough Et Voila PL (by Extreme US x Secret) for 14,000 euro.
Belenia H (by Barbarossa x Furst Nymphenburg) goes to Italy for 5,750 euro, just like Excalibur (by Escamillo x Sir Donnerhall) for 5,250 euro and Zanta Maria (by Zakaria x St. Moritz jr) for 4,000 euro.
An American bought Sweetheart (by St. Emilion x Vivaldi) fpr 16,000 euro and Enjoy (by Escanto PS x Millennium) for 4,500 euro. Equitano (by Extreme US x Dancier) goes to Portugal for 8,250 euro.
Verizon (by Verbier x Benetton Dream) goes to Great Britain for 8,000 euro, a Spaniard bought Cecy (by Cadeau Noir x Maracana) for 4,500 euro.
The average price for a horse in this auction was 8,529 euro.
