Zanzibar and EPP are proud to present the Spanish Riding School of Vienna at the Antwerp Sportpaleis from Thursday 19th October to Sunday 22nd October, 2000.
Each year, for over four centuries, the world renowned Spanish Riding School presents breathtaking performances at their facility "Hofburg" in Vienna. Now, the Vienna team is coming to Belgium for an exclusive, long weekend at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp. In four shows, the team will illustrate harmony, perfection and training. Harmony between rider and horse is the result of long and patient training. Perfection is expressed by an eye-catching choreography in which piaffe, passage and pirouettes are inserted. Training on the long lunge line and jumps, like the levade, courbette and capriole, finalise the exquisiteness of the Spanish Riding School and their performances.
The famous Lippizaners from the Spanish Riding School in Vienna leave the beautiful equestrian facility of Hofburg only once a year. Of course we are honoured that they chose Antwerp as their destination for a first guest appearance in this new millennium. The show is, therefore, an absolute must for all equestrian enthusiasts. Even more, because their last visit to Antwerp dates from 1993.
